OEM Quicksilver/Mercury Sealing Washer 8M0082880
Gearcase seal (washer) kit 8M0082880 is for use on select 5 hp Mercury propane fueled outboards (s/n:0R936270 and above), 8/9.9 hp 4-stroke outboards (s/n:0R008146 and above), 15 hp through 20 hp Mercury EFI 4-stroke and Mercury SeaPro (s/n:0R833820 and above) outboards. This seal/washer is blue in color. Replace when changing gear lube or when the existing seal/washer shows signs of wear or damage. The seal/washer must be in place to keep gear lube in and water out of the gearcase. Use only Mercury/Quicksilver gear lube in your Mercury outboards. See your owner's manual or service manual for more information.
