Bravo 1 Lower Unit

Designed to operate in single, twin, or triple engine applications, the Bravo 1 sterndrive pairs best with boats designed to reach triple-digit speeds, gas engines up to 600 horsepower, and diesel engines up to 370 horsepower. Bravo 1 lower units feature extended-length torpedoes that reduce drag, and a deeper skeg that provides a larger rudder area for better steering response. Even at high speeds, the Bravo 1 lower unit will help your boat retain its agility and responsiveness.

Bravo 2 Lower Unit

Intended for twin-engine applications, the Bravo 2 sterndrive can power a boat up to 55 mph for gas engines up to 450hp. Featuring a wider gear case, Bravo 2 lower units can mount a propeller up to 20" in diameter. When the boat is properly on plane, the Bravo 2's larger propeller allows the boat to travel faster and with better fuel economy.

Bravo 3 Lower Unit

Available in both single and twin-engine applications, the Bravo 3 engine is capable of speeds up to 65mph for gas engines up to 525hp. The greatest advantage of the Bravo 3 lower unit is its contra-rotating dual propellers: by rotating in opposite directions, the propellers counter each other’s prop torque, which allows for greater efficiency and handling when out on the water.
