About Us

1987: We opened our original marine service shop in Berlin, NJ, originally named "New Wave Marine." This name evolved into today's NuWave Marine.

1992: NuWave Marine's service center outgrew its small location in Berlin, NJ, prompting a relocation to a larger facility in Deptford, NJ. We expanded the business, incorporating a small retail section within the service shop.

2008: NuWave made its online debut through eBay. We started off selling spare used parts from the shop, but eventually ran out and started listing new parts and MerCruiser engine packages. Within a few years, the eBay store emerged as NuWave's largest and fastest-growing source of revenue.

2012: Building on the success of the eBay store, We launched its first website, MercExhaust.com, specializing in MerCruiser exhaust parts. Over the following years, we experimented with various niche e-commerce sites, including RePowerMyBoat.com, FixMyMercruiser.com, and LightUpMyBoat.com. Eventually, all of these sites merged into  NuWaveMarine.com.

2015: We opened our first NuWave Marine Supply retail store and service center in Woodbury Heights, NJ. This location also serves as the new headquarters for the E-commerce department.

2019: NuWave became a Wellcraft boats dealer and attained platinum-level dealership with Mercury Marine. We are recognized as the biggest single location Mercury Marine dealer in the USA.

2020: We expanded our new boat lineup by adding Glastron & Lund boats.

2021: NuWave received recognition from INC5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States.

2024: NuWavemarine.com is re-branded to PowerBoatSupply.com and our boat dealership is now www.NuWave.Boats.
