Ken started in the marine industry with a passion for fixing and building boats the right way. Over the years, he built a reputation for honest service, deep technical knowledge, and doing right by customers.

Our Story
- 1987: It all started when Ken opened a small marine service shop in Berlin, NJ, originally named New Wave Marine. His focus was simple—quality repairs, honest advice, and personal service.
- 1992: Business was booming, and we moved to a larger facility in Deptford, NJ, adding a retail section alongside the service center.
- 2008: We took our first steps into online sales through eBay, starting with used parts from the shop before transitioning to new parts and MerCruiser engine packages. Online demand quickly became one of our biggest revenue streams.
- 2012: We launched our first dedicated e-commerce site, MercExhaust.com, followed by a series of niche boating sites. Eventually, everything was consolidated into NuWaveMarine.com.
- 2015: We opened our flagship NuWave Marine Supply retail store and service center in Woodbury Heights, NJ—now home to our headquarters and e-commerce team.
- 2019: We became a Wellcraft Boats dealer and achieved platinum-level status with Mercury Marine, making us the largest single-location Mercury Marine dealer in the USA.
- 2020: Our lineup expanded to include Glastron and Lund boats.
- 2021: We earned a spot on the INC 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
- 2024: We rebranded NuWaveMarine.com to PowerBoatSupply.com for our parts business and launched NuWave.Boats for our dealership operations. We also expanded our offerings to include Four Winns, Aquasport, and Twin Vee boats, as well as Sealion and Load Rite trailers—plus a rotating stock of pre-owned boats.
